"FIERCE: An art show benefiting the Cameron Park Zoo" March 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 Free and Open to the Public

This is a unique and exciting fundraiser for both Cameron Park Zoo and The Croft Gallery. This exhibit will consist of several area artists that have donated their time and talent to raise money and awareness for the Cameron Park Zoo and it's animals. Each artist has created a unique piece of work with their chosen animal in mind. Some of the artwork was created by both the artist and the animal. The zoo uses painting as an enrichment tool for many of their animals. They are offered an opportunity to play with paints, brushes, water and paper. This combination often ends in a great piece of art painted by an elephant or a giraffe! Each piece will be on display and available for sale in the gallery during the month of March. All of the sale price of the work will be donated to Cameron Park Zoo.
